However, embarking on an entrepreneurial journey can be immensely challenging. To navigate these waters, I’ve launched my website, a resource where I share cutting-edge business principles and the latest trends in the industry.
My journey unfolded with a leap into leadership right after college graduation. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army, I embarked on a decade of commanding combat units across diverse and often complex environments. This experience wasn’t just about tactics and strategy; it was a deep dive into the essence of leadership—learning to navigate the unique challenges of leading varied organizations and the profound impact of positive influence. Whether in the rigorous settings of Ranger School or in the roles of a combat platoon leader and commander, I discovered the power of inspiring others to achieve greatness, emphasizing the importance of setting an example and holding oneself accountable.
Midway through my military service, a desire for new horizons led me to explore beyond traditional paths. A mentor connected me with a friend of his, sparking a pivotal discussion on enriching my leadership journey with practical, transferable skills in high demand beyond military life. This led me to the specialized field of FA49 Operations Research and Systems Analysis.
My tenure with the Army’s National Marketing organization as an Operations Research Staff Officer was transformative, marking my transition to entrepreneurship with the launch of Market3r in 2019. This digital marketing agency was born out of a vision to empower local small businesses, guiding them towards growth with strategic insights, marketing communication, and consumer insights.
My springboard for theses pursuits began with a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications at Northwestern University; this was a natural step in my quest for knowledge, driven by a lifelong fascination with brand storytelling and its influence on consumer behavior. This was followed by an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. My progression into the domain of Operations Research & Systems Analysis further honed my analytical capabilities, culminating in a pivotal role with the Army Marketing & Research Group. Driven by my deep-seated enthusiasm for data analytics, I aimed to bolster the Army’s diverse campaigns and recruiting missions. In my role as a staff officer stationed at the Pentagon, I spearheaded our yearly data and analytics planning initiatives. I took charge of conducting comprehensive studies on the marketing landscape, both qualitative and quantitative, to enhance campaign strategies. Additionally, I was at the forefront of leading the data analytics operations for two pilot marketing campaigns, strategically deployed across three of America’s major cities. Today, as a Senior Strategist at Vanguard and a dedicated US Army Reservist, I blend military precision with financial acumen.
Currently, my journey of self-improvement ventures into the realms of Machine Learning and AI, with a keen focus on their applications in FinTech. This ongoing pursuit of knowledge and excellence defines my path, bridging the worlds of military leadership, marketing insight, and financial strategy to navigate the dynamic landscape of modern finance.
